Electrical upgrade at the Salem Housing Authority's Pioneer Terrace (667-4) Development encompasses 13 two-story apartment buildings, each containing eight units, as well as one community building. The scope of work includes replacing the existing Federal Pacific panels in apartment units, installing new lighting fixtures, and upgrading existing receptacles to tamper-resistant models. Additionally, the project will involve the installation of attic stairway hatches in each apartment building and the construction of new electrical closets. As part of the upgrade, each building's main distribution panel and house panel will be relocated from the basement to the newly constructed electrical closet on the first floor.
