Installation of approximately 3,854 linear feet of 48"HDPE treated effluent pipeline, remove/ replace existing24" RCP pipe, with 13 concrete manholes, connection of 48"pipe to existing concrete outfall structure with48" flap valve, with all other necessary appurtenances. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, or an approved bidders bond in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum total proposal, payable to the City of Seguin, Texas without recourse, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds on the forms provided, within ten(10) days after the award of contract. The successful Bidder must furnish Performance and Payments Bonds each in the amount of 100% of the contract price from an approved Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as Surety and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of authority from the Secretary of Treasury of the United States, or other Surety or Sureties acceptable to the Owner. No bid may be withdrawn within ninety (90) days after the date on which bids are received. 1. Installing the 48" treated effluent pipe from Webber's connection location to the existing Geronimo Creek Outfall structure. The CONTRACTOR will need to access the effluent pipe easements (on Vogel Property), which begin on the south side of the GCWWTP site. For this portion of the work, ingress/egress for the CONTRACTOR will be from the south end of Seitz Road, where Webber's main construction access road intersects with Seitz Road, and runs east/west along the south edge of the City's property. 2. The CONTRACTOR shall not access other parts of the GCWWTP site property or vary from the routes described above. 3. The CONTRACTOR shall communicate with Webber for any deliveries, equipment traveling through the site, etc., so that Webber can plan accordingly. As this is an active construction site, the CONTRACTOR shall not interfere with work being conducted by Webber.
