The intent of this solicitation is to hire a vendor to complete Filter and Backwash Improvements for the Pierce-Burch Water Treatment Plant following the specifications. The intent of this solicitation is to hire a vendor to complete Filter and Backwash Improvements for the Pierce-Burch Water Treatment Plant following the specifications. Question Cut Off Date 6/12/2025 06:00:00 PM (CT) A Contract Specific Goal of 30 % of the Contract Price, less Owner's Contingency Allowance and Extra Work item amounts, has been set for this project. All Offerors are required to utilize certified MWBE companies and/or persons for a minimum of 30% of the Contract Price, less Owner's Contingency Allowance and Extra Work item amounts. With the adoption of a MWBE Program, all proposals will be reviewed to see whether said Offeror(s) has met the requirements of the City's MWBE program. The Project includes the following Work: The Project Work consist of rehabilitation and replacement of filter equipment and appurtenances at the needs at the Pierce-Burch Water Treatment Plant filters. The scope of work includes the underdrain replacement for twenty (20) filters, addition of filter-to-waste piping, relocation of air scour piping, replacement of influent and effluent piping, replacement of valves and actuators, and miscellaneous piping and site improvements. The Budget for the Project is $35-37M. The Project is to be substantially complete and ready for operation on or before September 1, 2027. The Project is to be complete and eligible for final payment 60 days after the date for Substantial Completion.
