Steam system is a critical component of these facilities, serving as the backbone for heating, sterilization, and various operation processes. The facility currently utilizes 230 steam traps on the Armstrong SAGE management system to regulate steam distribution and prevent energy losses. Routine maintenance is essential to ensure theses steam traps operate efficiently and reliable. The Va seeks to undertake a proactive maintenance effort that includes a comprehensive survey of all stream traps and replacement of their batteries to optimize system and reduce energy cost. SCOPE: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, required parts, and supervision to conduct steam trap survey, replace 230 batteries on current steam traps, Contractor shall provide report to plumbing supervisor to update SAGE utility management system.
