Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Papillion, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Engineer’s estimate of the construction or other effectuation of all such improvements is $600,800. All work called for in the drawings and specifications shall be furnished in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications prepared by Thompson, Dreessen & Dorner, Inc., Engineers for the District, and now filed in the office of the Clerk of the District at 2120 S. 72nd St., Suite 1200, Omaha, NE 68124, and bids will be received only upon the proposal form furnished through the Engineer for the District. The agenda for such meeting, kept continuously current, is available for public inspection at 11440 West Center Road, Omaha, Nebraska and includes the payment of bills of the District and the consideration and passing or amending and passing the following Resolution, to-wit: BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of Sanitary and Improvement District No. 360 of Sarpy County, Nebraska find and determine that it is advisable and necessary for the District to construct trails and sidewalks within the boundaries of the District, said improvement to be designated as Trail & Sidewalks, and shall be constructed as follows: Construct 5-foot wide, 5-inch-thick P.C.C. sidewalk and a 10-foot-wide, 6-inch-thick P.C.C. trail with 7-inch-thick P.C.C. curb ramps and appurtenances and perform all work necessary or incidental thereto in the following locations. South 108th Street - Commencing at a point 53 feet west and 4 feet north of the southwestern corner of Outlot A; thence southernly a 10-feet-wide, 6-inch-thick P.C.C. trail 2144 feet to a point 25 feet west and 112 feet south of the southwestern corner of Lot 164. Outlot E - Commencing at a point 16 feet west and 3 feet north of the northwestern corner of Lot 154; thence easterly a 5-foot-wide, 6-inch-thick P.C.C. trail 148 feet to a point 3 feet east and 20 feet north of the northeastern corner of Lot 154. Portage Drive - Commencing at a point 47 feet west and 11 feet south of the southwestern corner of Outlot A; thence easterly a 5-foot-wide, 5-inch-thick P.C.C sidewalk 72 feet to a point 21 feet east and 8 feet north of the southwestern corner of Outlot A. South 107th Avenue - Commencing at a point 3 feet east of the southeastern corner of Lot 153; thence southernly a 5-foot-wide, 5-inch-thick P.C.C. sidewalk 30 feet to a point 3 feet east of the northeastern corner of Lot 154. Whitewater Drive - Commencing at a point 25 feet west and 65 feet south of the southwestern corner of Lot 164; thence easterly a 5-foot-wide, 5-inchthick P.C.C. sidewalk 726 feet to a point 16 feet west and 69 feet south of the southeastern corner of Outlot F. Whitewater Drive, Turkey Road - Commencing at the southeastern corner of Lot 258; thence easterly a 5-foot-wide, 5-inch-thick P.C.C. sidewalk 354 feet to a point 15 feet east of the northeastern corner of Outlot F. Plans and Specifications for said improvement have been prepared by Lamp Rynearson, engineers for the District and said engineers have filed with the Clerk of the District, prior to the first publication of this Resolution, an estimate of the total costs of said improvement, including engineering fees, legal fees, fiscal fees, interest, and other miscellaneous costs, which estimate is in the sum of $320,489.00. To pay the cost of said improvement the Board of Trustees shall have the power to issue negotiable bonds of the District after such improvements have been completed and accepted; said bonds to be called “Sanitary and Improvement District Bonds” and shall be payable and bear interest as provided by the Statutes of the State of Nebraska. The Board of Trustees shall assess to the extent of special benefits, the cost of such improvements upon properties specially benefited thereby. All special assessments which may be levied upon the properties specially benefitted by such improvements shall, when collected, be set aside, and constitute a sinking fund for the payment of interest and principal of said bonds. The District shall also cause to be levied annually a tax upon the assessed value of all of the taxable property in the District except intangible property, which together with said sinking fund derived from special assessments shall be sufficient to meet Continues on Next Page 9.
