Rockwood Municipal Utility District No. 1 of Denton County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all defects and irregularities in the bidding. Bids may be held by Rockwood Municipal Utility District No. 1 of Denton County for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible bidder which in the Owner's judgment will be most advantageous to the Owner and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project Estimate: $1,500,000. The work to be done hereunder includes the furnishing of all labor, material, transportation, tools, supplies, plant, equipment, and appurtenances, unless hereinafter specified excepted, necessary for the new deep well of a large diameter, gravel filter well installation, with specified equipment, complete and satisfactory construction, disinfection, and testing of the proposed water supply well. The equipment shall be installed and placed into operation by the contractor. The finished well will provide a water supply for public usage and, therefore, no sand will be tolerated.
