Reference Number 0000294006 Question Acceptance Deadline Jun 04, 2025 02:00 PM EDT The project aims for the modernization of the existing workplace through a light fit-up with maximum reuse of furniture and existing layouts/enclosed spaces. Some light base building work is expected to accommodate the new layouts (e.g., some addition or removal of walls, design changes requiring HVAC/electrical modifications, some millwork, egress/ingress emergency redesign, etc.). The client's Special Purpose Space (SPS) requirements will also be met. The building floors will be vacated in two phases as the building is currently occupied and will remain occupied for the duration of the project. The high-level floor vacating phasing details are as follows: The existing building occupants will consolidate on floors 4, 5, 6, 9, 11 & 12. This effort is outside of the Contractor's scope of work. This will vacate the first phase floors, more specifically floors 2, 3, 7, 8 & 10, and render them available for fit-up. After their modernization, these floors will mostly accommodate the existing 455 de la Carriere ADM (Mat) group occupants, which will move to these newly renovated floors as they become available. The 7th floor will be a Special Purpose Space (SPS) Floor to be shared by all the future occupants of the building. A DND lead project is expected to be completed in April 2025, this portion of the 7th floor is out of the scope and must remain operational during construction. The construction manager will be responsible for constructing appropriate hoarding to separate the two spaces.
