This RPQ is issued under the terms and conditions of the Miscellaneous Construction Contracts (MCC) Program MCC 7360 Plan. Fuel Transmission / Distribution Lines; General Mechanical, Master; General Engineering; General Building Contractor. (Contractor must obtain and submit all permits prior to performing any work). Provide all supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment, and perform all operations required to install a turnkey solution to an above-ground Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) System at the PIOD Shop 3 Main facility. Detailed Scope of Work is as follows: A. Furnish and install a new DEF system with aboveground storage tanks (AST), DEF dispensers, concrete bases, gauges, valves, dispensers, piping, applicable hardware and all related items necessary for complete installation of a fully operational system. B. Provide all technical data and required documentation for approval from Fleet Management Division (FMD), before submitting for permitting. C. All new DEF\ tanks, piping and appurtenances shall be designed and installed in accordance with applicable sections of Aboveground Storage Tank Systems, NFPA 30: Flammable and Combustible Liquids Code 2015 Edition, ASME B31: Code for Pressure Piping and other applicable standards, inclusive of all permits. LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: At the time of Bid and pursuant to the requirements of Section 10-3 of the Code of Miami-Dade County, Florida, and these Solicitation and Contract Documents, the Bidder must hold a valid, current, and active: Certificate of Competency as a General Mechanical Contractor, or General Building Contractor, or General Engineering Contractor Or. State of Florida Licensed contractor. Contractor shall pay to the County, not as a penalty but as liquidated damages, the amount of $500.00 per day should Contractor fail to complete all work specified within the time stipulated in the Contract for substantial completion, including extra time granted in writing by the County. Substantial completion must be achieved prior to contract final acceptance, unless a different time is stipulated under the contract duration in the Special Provisions.
