Reference Number 0000432123 The Town of Superior requests Bids for: o Installation of longitudinal pavement markings such as 4" dotted white, 4" double yellow, and 4" single white lines over existing pavement markings. o Installation of pavement symbols, such as arrows, crosswalk bars, "YIELD" markings, and stop bars over existing pavement symbols. o Use of high-durability traffic marking materials, such as thermoplastic, epoxy, or preformed tape, unless otherwise specified. o New thermoplastic symbols/legends may be applied over existing well-adhered thermoplastic markings provided the old markings are thoroughly cleaned, dry, and free of loose material. The contractor shall lightly grind or scarify existing symbols that retain a heavy profile or substantial bead retention to ensure proper bonding and to prevent excessive buildup thickness o Compliance with all federal, state, and local standards, including the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and the Town of Superior Standards & Specifications. o Coordination with the Town for work zone safety, traffic control, and scheduling to minimize traffic disruptions. o Providing reflective materials and ensuring all markings meet required retroreflectivity standards.
