Renovation of a medical facility in Smithers, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The Project includes the following Work: Installation of a 200 KW Generator, concrete pad, site fencing, site wiring, and all other necessary appurtenances for a complete and operational system. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Gateway Center Generator The Work will be substantially completed within 180 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run and completed and ready for final payment within 210 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Liquidated damages shall be $500.00 per day. A bidder may not withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to City of Smithers Sanitary Board in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid. DBE Requirements - Each Bidder must fully Comply with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, and Affirmative Action Requirements, as identified in the contract documents. The Bidder agrees to make positive efforts to subcontract a portion of the total value of the contract to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. This shall be done in compliance with the six (6) affirmative steps as outlined in 40 CFR 33.240. The City of Smithers reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Question Deadline 06/18/2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing
