The work to be done under this contract consists of all labor, equipment, and materials to install ADA curb ramps as described in the Drawings and Specifications. The Contract consists of a Base Bid and three (3) alternates. Work shall be substantially completed within 60 calendar days and ready for final payment 90 calendar days after the Contract Times commence. Question Deadline 06/06/2025 at 12:00 PM ET Location online portal Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for the period of days stated in the bid form from the date the bids are opened. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% each of the Contract amount and a Maintenance Bond in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the contract amount, thereafter required on the specified Bond Forms included in the Contract Documents and Contractor's Release of Liens. Attention is called to the fact that the contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religious creed, ancestry, national origin, age or sex and that they are required to comply with the Green Lane Borough's Nondiscrimination Clause which is made part of the bid specifications. The Project was financed in part by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority, and as such is also subject to the Nondiscrimination/Sexual Harassment Provisions included in Article V in the Grant Contract, included in an appendix of the bid specifications. The right is reserved to waive any immaterial defect or informality in the Bid, to reject any or all Bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Owner, at the time and under the circumstances stipulated. This project is subject to applicable provisions of Act 422, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act as amended, the prevailing minimum wage rates issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, and to applicable provisions of Act 127 Pennsylvania Public Works Employment Verification as amended.
