The project includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the construction of a Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) Classroom Addition to the existing Jackson-Milton Middle/High School, located at 13910 Mahoning Avenue, North Jackson, Ohio 44451. All questions during the bidding period shall be submitted in writing to Tepley Architects, P.O. Box 18763, Cleveland, Ohio 44118, Attn: Jim Tepley, AIA, Phone: (216) 232-6091, Email: jtepley@tepleyarchitects.com. All questions must be received no later than 12:00 p.m. on June 13, 2025 . Responses will be issued to all registered plan holders by addendum. Each bid must be submitted on the forms provided in the Project Manual. Bids must be delivered in a sealed envelope marked Bid for Jackson-Milton Middle/High School Classroom Addition. No oral, telegraphic, or telephonic proposals or modifications will be accepted. Each bid must include a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the total amount of the base bid, or a certified check, cashier s check, or letter of credit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, including all alternates, as required by Ohio Revised Code Section 153.54. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of the contract amount. The Owner requires Substantial Completion of the project on or before December 30, 2025. Bidders must list the full legal name of each person or company interested in the work. No bid may be withdrawn within 30 days after the scheduled bid opening without the Owner s written consent. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and award the contract in the best interest of the School District.
