SCOPE OF WORK The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified contractor to provide construction services for the project listed below. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, transportation, managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel to install thirty-five (35) new streetlights and the replacement of three (3) luminaires on existing poles at multiple locations within the Broadway Heritage neighborhood. This project includes the following key tasks: Trenching and surveying for installation of twenty-five (25) 37W LED fixtures with photoelectric controls on 30'6" direct-bury poles, each with a 6' mast arm. o Installation of ten (10) 68W LED fixtures with photoelectric controls on 38'6" direct-bury poles, each with a 6' mast arm. o Removal of an existing luminaire and installation of three (3) 68W LED fixtures with photoelectric controls on existing mast arms. o Removal and salvage of streetlight poles, mast arms, and luminaires as specified. Additionally, the work will include the installation of approved junction boxes adjacent to each pole, along with 1-inch flexible conduit, grounding, wiring, and fusing to facilitate SRP's power transfer connections. Except as otherwise required in the specifications, proposal preparation and construction of projects shall be in accordance with all applicable Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) Uniformed Standard Specifications and Uniformed Standard Details, latest revision, and the City of Phoenix Supplements to the MAG Uniform Standard Specifications and Details, latest revision, and City of Phoenix 2023 Streetlight Guidelines. This project is funded by Community Development Block Grant funding from the U.S. Departments of Housing and Urban Development. The prevailing basic hourly wage rates and fringe benefit payments, as determined by the Secretary of Labor pursuant to the provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act, shall be the minimum wages paid to the described classes of laborers and mechanics employed or working on the site to perform the contract.
