Question Deadline 08/08/2025 Any questions concerning the bid documents must be received by the Engineer no less than ninety-six (96) hours before bid opening date. The project consists of the replacement or rehabilitation of four (4) vertical single cell pressure filters. Separate bid forms have been established for replacement or rehabilitation of the filters. Bid Form "A" will include the removal and disposal of existing pressure filters, installation of new filters and appurtenances, preparation and painting of new filters, furnishing and installing new gravel bed and filter media, replacement of effluent and backwash flow meters, commissioning, testing, disinfection, startup and any additional appurtenant items of work. Bid Form "B" will include rehabilitation of existing filters which will include removal and disposal of existing filter gravel and media, filter inspections, servicing or replacement of nozzles, sandblasting, preparation and painting of filter interior, pit welding, seam welding, installation of new manways, commissioning, testing, disinfection, startup and any additional appurtenant items of work. The Owner reserves the right to make an award based on either Bid Form. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
