**As of July 8, 2025, the project was awarded to Bituminous Roadways, Inc., with an awarded amount of $694,510.92.** Site prep, including mobilization, tree protection, silt fence, bio logs, and inlet protection. Removal of existing bituminous trails, bituminous courts concrete sidewalks & curbs. Removal of existing playgrounds, site furnishings, and a sand volleyball court. Removal and replacement of chain link backstop and chain link field fencing. Earthworks. Bituminous pavement - trails. Bituminous court pavement with color coating and striping. Armor & crack fill of existing bituminous tennis court. Concrete flatwork and curbing related to backstops and playgrounds. Players benches and basketball hoop systems. ADA ped ramps - includes concrete and bituminous patching. Seeding & restoration. Coordination with playground vendors for installation timing and container layouts. Electronic Bid Bonds in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid shall be submitted with each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid bonds must be payable to the City of Apple Valley in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted and the bidder shall fail to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond.
