The Bismarck Fire Department requests written qualifications from professional Architectural/Engineering firms for the following: The Bismarck Fire Department has identified a need to build an additional Fire Station in South Bismarck at West Burleigh Avenue and Calypso Dr. The successful applicant will provide consulting services for preliminary design & cost estimate, design, contract documents preparation, bidding, and contract administration for the Bismarck Fire Station 6 project. The architect/engineer will be selected based upon Statements of Qualification and/or oral interviews. A selection committee will recommend a single firm to the Board of City Commissioners. A detailed scope of work will be developed, and price will be negotiated with the selected firm. Failure to reach an agreement acceptable to the City of Bismarck will result in negotiation with the second most qualified firm. A professional services agreement will be executed with a single firm. All inquiries shall be directed to Tory Otto, Facilities Manager, totto@bismarcknd.gov or 701- 390-0070. Site Visit: This land is public property and is available to be viewed at any time. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or inquiries, waive any informality in the process or to accept any response it may deem to be in the best interest of the City. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
