Site work for a water / sewer project in Lewisville, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Upper Trinity Regional Water District (owner), together with Freese & Nichols (designer) and Archer Western (CMAR), has initiated the PI - Doe Branch Parallel Interceptor under the Northeast Water Reclamation Expansion Project. During the current construction phase at Doe Branch WRP (27200 E University Dr., Little Elm, TX 75068), the contractor will install a parallel 54-inch fiberglass gravity interceptor within the UTRWD easement from Station 1+62 to Station 90+30. Most of the alignment will be installed via open-cut trenching across open fields and through emergent wetlands, with a single directional bore beneath US 380 to minimize traffic impacts. Once installed, the new line will be pressure-tested and tied into the existing Junction Box near fishtrap Rd. This work is being performed now to significantly increase conveyance capacity, provide operational redundancy, and ensure long-term reliability for the Doe Branch facility. The deadline to ask questions is 6/26/2025 2:00 PM CST Estimated cost is $24,850,000. Final completion - August 14, 2027 The CONSTRUCTION MANAGER at RISK (CMAR) intends to award this Proposal Package to the PROPOSER whose proposal provides the best value for Upper Trinity Regional Water District (UTRWD).
