New construction of a mixed-use development in Brown City, Michigan. Completed plans call for the construction of a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Question Deadline 06/16/2025 Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The project includes the replacement of arsenic removal filter media and construction of approximately 8,400 feet of watermain along with associated water services, lead service line replacement (LSLR), concrete curb & gutter, sidewalk, drive approaches, concrete and HMA pavement, turf restoration, and all related work. The date the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. A pre-bid conference will not be held. This project will be funded by a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan from the Michigan Department of Environmental, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE). Therefore, all contractors and subcontractors must comply with the EGLE Non-Equivalency Projects Contract Boilerplate Language. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The City of Brown City reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the City of Brown City.
