A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The work covered by the Contract Documents consists of improvement to the Marshall Elevated Storage Tank, located on Marshall Street in Muskegon, Michigan. Included in this work is furnishing all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, activities and related costs necessary for completing the improvements. The project scope of work is as follows: Tank Information: The structure is a 1,000,000-gallon radial arm elevated water storage tank with an estimated lowwater level of 100 ft. located on Marshall St. in Muskegon, Michigan. The work includes: Wet Interior: Abrasive blast clean to a SSPC-SP10 near-white metal standard. Apply a three (3) coat zinc epoxy system. Apply a polyurethane caulk to the roof lap seams. Apply pit filler as needed. Mixer: Install a mechanical mixer. Repairs: 1) Replace the wet interior roof hatch. 2) Clean the fall prevention device on the wet interior ladder. 3) Pit welding. 4) Light fixture replacement. Also included is all associated mechanical, electrical, controls, site, and restoration work. For bid surety requirements, see Section 00 21 13 Instructions to Bidders. The project shall be substantially complete on or before October 23, 2026. Final restoration and project completion shall occur on or before November 6, 2026. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids for at least one hundred twenty (120) days thereafter.
