Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Scope of work includes 20,025 square feet of existing Sidewalk Removal and Replacement and 24,635 square feet installation of new PCC Sidewalk Residential. All sidewalk locations are within close proximity of local schools in the City of Chicago Heights Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided. All proposals or bids offered must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check payable to the City of Chicago Heights, IL in a minimum amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. All laborers and mechanics employed by the Contractor and all subcontractors on a construction site for this project shall be paid wages at rates not less than those prevailing on similar construction in the locality as determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended (40 U.S.C. 276-276s 5), and the Contractor and Subcontractors shall comply with all regulations issued pursuant to these Acts and other applicable Federal Laws and regulations pertaining to labor standards. The City of Chicago Heights reserves the right to reject all bids or accept any part of a bid.
