The Work consists of the alteration of specific areas of existing Transfort Maintenance Building to accommodate the ongoing maintenance of CNG fueled vehicles (not including charged fuel systems), functions associated with charging battery powered electric vehicles, and a remodel of the office area. Major HVAC system upgrades included: a. Upgrades to the building ventilation system, including hydronic piping and the installation of a new air to water heat pump. b. The installation of a new gas detection system is included for the detection and purge of lighter than air gases (natural gas) that are used in the CNG Buses that the City of Fort Collins utilizes.
