Colorado State University (CSU) is seeking firms interested in providing consulting services for Commissioning Services for the Law Engineering Future Technologies Building Project. The scope of the project involves demolishing a 52,000 GSF 1.5-story classroom, office, & laboratory building and construction of a new, larger 140,000-169,000 GSF classroom, office, & laboratory building on the same site. The new building will also house a data center sized to support the growth of the AI, computing, and engineering focused educational and research programs housed within the new building. The entire project is expected to cost between $135-160MM and will be delivered using a Design Build approach over a 36-42-month schedule. A program plan included in Appendix D2 provides additional information regarding the structural, envelope, and MEP systems envisioned for the building. Colorado State University is currently interviewing for Commissioning services for the Don & Susie Law Engineering Future Technologies Building. Scope of work includes commissioning, testing, planning, investigating, implementing, verifying, and documenting that the facility and/or its systems and assemblies operate per design and meet CSU Design and Construction Standards. The findings and outcomes should be documented in a final commissioning report for the building. The base scope is for enhanced commissioning and envelope commissioning.
