The overall project intent is the construction of a new, LEED Gold Certification Level, office facility, specialized buildings, and associated campus. The general scope items are: o 30,000 SF Main Office Building, o 7 Total Storage Buildings (~6,000 SF each), o (3) Detached Buildings (<500 SF each), o Associated site work which includes concrete flatwork and asphalt paving, and o Frontage Road Improvements (CDOT Standards) The scope of work to be undertaken for this contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to, all work required for the construction phase material testing, necessary inspections, and reporting. Tasks as follows: PROJECT MANAGEMENT & COORDINATION 1. Provide Project Manager(s) for the duration of the construction contract 2. Coordinate with contractor for a submission of an inspection and testing schedule 3. Provide routine inspection reports and test reports for inclusion into the project files 4. Provide final inspection (close-out) reports CONSTRUCTION SITE INSPECTIONS: 1. Footing/Foundation Inspections 2. Concrete Flatwork Inspections 3. Concrete Slab / Under-Floor Inspections 4. Structural Reinforcement Inspections 5. Framing Inspections 6. Steel Inspections - welds, bolts, etc. 7. Proof Roll Observations 8. Quality Control Inspections MATERIAL TESTING: 1. Field Sampling and Testing of concrete for slump, temperature, unit weight, air content and molding of compressive or flexural strength specimens 2. Sampling of aggregates, soil, soil-aggregate mixtures or asphalt at the source jobsite, including from stock-piles and/or trenches 3. Field compaction testing using a nuclear density gauge for soil, soil-aggregate mixtures or asphalt. 4. Obtaining drilled cores of asphalt and/or concrete. 5. Proctor and/or rice laboratory densities 6. In-situ density testing 7. Suspect on-site soil sampling, laboratory testing and reporting REPORTING 1. Receive analytical results from laboratory, analyze, and summarize into draft and final reports. Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) has a current facility at 317 West Prospect Road in Ft. Collins, Colorado. The decision was made to move this facility to a new location and the design is now at a 100% complete. The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Parks and Wildlife is soliciting Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) from professional services consultants to provide materials testing and inspection services during the construction phase of the Ft.
