Reference Number 0000384079 Job Location: Fort Collins Boxelder Sanitation District (District) through this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is seeking Letters of Interest and Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from General Contracting firms with demonstrated experience and success in the construction of wastewater treatment plants, who are willing to work as a team member with District staff and its Design Engineer to design and construct an upgrade to its existing wastewater treatment plant (Project). The District intends to prequalify a selected group of General Contractors who will be invited to submit proposals to provide design assistance (e.g., constructability consultation) and construction of the Project as further described herein. Project Description: The general and conceptual description of the major facilities required for the Project include: Scum Collection System: Demo and replace existing collection manhole structures with prebuilt pump stations. Effluent from prebuilt structures will be routed through existing gravity system via pressurized line. Recuperative Thickening: Installation of recuperative thickener. Includes upgrades to polymer feed, potable water lines, and non-potable water lines.
