Sangamon Valley CUSD #9 is seeking sealed bids for pavement rehabilitation and markings for designated areas totaling approximately 260 tons of asphalt. The project includes milling, paving, layout, and restriping services. Work must be completed by August 8, 2025, weather permitting. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to: - Mill and remove 2 inches of existing pavement - Haul off all milled spoils from the site - Clean and sweep all milled surfaces using power brooms and blowers - Apply asphalt bonding agent (tack coat) to all milled areas - Machine-lay 2 inches of state-spec hot mix asphalt surface - Roll and compact asphalt to a smooth, uniform finish - Contractor must notify utilities prior to start date Scope of Work - Pavement Marking (Main Lot) This project involves layout and application of pavement markings for the main parking lot, ensuring compliance with local codes, ADA requirements, and professional industry standards. Striping will include new layout, restriping of existing areas, specialty markings, and installation of signage. Marking Work Includes: 3 rows of standard parking - 2 "NO PARKING" areas (right side of south parking rows) - 4 light pole base markings - 3 handicap stalls (located in north row) - 3 ADA handicap poles/signs (with installation) - 10 parking blocks to be re-centered and painted - Curb adjacent to parking blocks to be painted
