This Contract includes providing a package water booster station, emergency generator and SCADA software as specified on these plans & specifications, as well as delivery to the project site in coordination with Contract 2: Water Booster Station Installation & Appurtenance Construction The current negotiated goal for construction related activitiesis 5.4% (the total goal is based on 3.1% of MBEs and 2.3% of WBEs participation). Question Deadline 06/06/2025 Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Those Bidders that elect to submit bid guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code and in accordance with Section 153.54 (C) of the Ohio Revised Code. Any such letter of credit shall be revocable only at the option of the beneficiary OWNER. The amount of the certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit shall be equal to ten (10) percent of the Bid and the Successful Bidder will be required to submit a bond in the form provided in 153.57 of the Ohio Revised Code in conjunction with the execution of the Contract. Each Bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, ancestry, or age. All CONTRACTORs and subcontractors involved with the project shall to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. DOMESTIC STEEL USE REQUIREMENTS AS SPECIFIEDIN SECTION 153.011 OF THE(OHIO) REVISED CODE APPLY TO THIS PROJECT. COPIES OF SECTION 153.011 OFTHE (OHIO) REVISED CODECAN BE OBTAINED FROMANY OF THE OFFICES OFTHE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES. Additionally, CONTRACTOR compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governors Executive Order of 1972,and Governors Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. This project is subject to the EPA policy of encouraging the participation of small businesses in rural areas (SBRA) as wellas Build America Buy America(BABA), and American Iron &Steel (AIS). The Village of Coal Grove reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to increase or decrease or omit any item or times and/or award the bid to the lowest and best bidder.
