The City of Ames is soliciting proposals from contractors for the removal and replacement of the air compressor system at the Ames Water Plant. Pre-Bid Conference: No Pre-Bid Conference Data Found No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. The City of Ames reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to make such awards as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City. This scope of work outlines the functional requirements of the replacement plant air system. It does not detail all the services and equipment necessary to deliver a fully functional and operational dry air system. Proposals must include the following: 2.1.1 All necessary equipment, materials, and labor 2.1.2 Demolition and removal of existing systems 2.1.3 Delivery and installation of the new system 2.1.4 All applicable permits (fees paid by contractor) 2.1.5 Inspections, testing, start-up, and commissioning 2.1.6 Training overview for City staff 2.1.7 Compliance with all relevant codes, including those enforced by the City of Ames Inspections Division and the Iowa Department of Labor
