The Work comprises, but is not limited to: Mobilization; Traffic Control; Grind Existing Pavement up to 4 inches deep; Install AC Overlay up to 4 inches thick; Reconstruct ADA Access Ramps; Adjust Utility Covers and Valve Lids to Finished Grade; Reconstruct Concrete Sidewalk; Reconstruct Curb and Gutter; Restore Striping, Pavement Legends, and Pavement Markers. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten (10) percent of the total bid price, payable to the City of Chino Hills. 100% Performance Bond; 100% Payment Bond. The Contractor shall possess a valid Class A Contractor's license at the time of submitting bids. Said work shall be diligently prosecuted to completion before the expiration of Thirty_(30) working days, from the dated specified in a written Notice to Proceed from the City. City of Chino Hills Agreement, the City and Contractor agree that the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00)* per calendar day is a reasonable sum to assess as damages to City by reason of the failure of Contractor to complete the Work within the time specified.
