Project Location: Various Local Roads in the City of Elgin, Kane County The proposed Work is generally described follows: This project in general (approximately 33,559 linear feet in length) includes but is not limited to furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and other as included items necessary for the completion of the following approximate quantities: 3,600 SY of Hot-Mix Asphalt Partial Depth Patching, 111,185 SY of Hot-Mix Asphalt Milling, 9,095 tons of Hot-Mix Asphalt Binder Course, 9,740 tons of Hot-Mix Asphalt Surface Course, 6,930 FT of Concrete Curb & Gutter Removal & Replacement, 19,689 SF of Sidewalk Removal & Replacement, 30 Structures To Be Adjusted or Reconstructed, 18,430 LF of Thermoplastic Pavement Markings, 3,112 SY of Landscape Restoration, 4,100 SY of Class D Patches, 4 Inch and other miscellaneous items of work in accordance with the Contract Plans and Specifications. All proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified or cashier's or a bank draft in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the bid, payable without condition to the City of Elgin, Illinois, which sum shall be forfeited in case the successful bidder fails to enter into a binding contract and provide a properly executed contract surety bond within 15 days after the contract is awarded by the City Council.
