Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in North Plainfield, New Jersey. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work includes construction engineering inspection services and final project close-out for the FY2014 Transportation Alternatives Program City of Plainfield North Avenue and Gavett Place Streetscape Improvements [TAP-1151(301)]. The construction inspection work involved in the project generally consists of inspection of masonry and concrete work, installation of new stormwater management structures and pipes, installation of ADA compliant curb ramps, installation of a rain garden, installation of a gazebo, electrical work, and all necessary restoration work. Proposals for the project must be submitted in a sealed package and must include the following: Completed "Bid/Proposal Checklist" furnished in the project's RFP; Consultant's qualifications; Four (4) (one original and three copies) Technical Proposal based on the project's RFP; and One (1) separately sealed envelope containing four (4) (one original and three copies) cost proposals, bearing the name and address of the bidder, subject of the contract, bid number or request for proposal number and date of proposal opening addressed to Cynthia Blake, Purchasing Agent City of Purchasing, 515 Watchung Avenue, Plainfield, N.J. 07060 and must be accompanied by all items identified in the RFP. Interested consultants are informed that the contract, if awarded, is subject to all pertinent federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations. Proposals are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.3 et seq., and as such, contractors are exempt from the limitations on making political contributions under that law. Further, for that reason, as well as because of language in New Jersey's Annual Appropriations Act, refusal to disclose campaign contributions otherwise required by N.J.S.A. 19:44a-20.3 et seq. and N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.25 et seq., will not adversely affect your consideration for award. NOTICE TO BIDDERS Prospective bidders are hereby notified that one (1) original, three (3) copies with signatures and one (1) USB of the entire bid package must be submitted to the City. The City of Plainfield reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof, and further reserves the right to reject any or all bids either in whole or in part and to waive any informality in any and make such awards or take action as may be in the best interest of the City of Plainfield.
