As of July 18, 2025. Project is awarded to Newman Construction in the amount of $625,000 and Scribner Weatherization in the amount of $625,000. For a total of $1,500,000 The Ashland County Housing Authority is Requesting Bids for Installed Weatherization Materials in Area 1 - Douglas, Bayfield and Ashland Counties, and Area 2 - Iron, Oneida, and Vilas Counties. The Work Will Generally Include Insulating Attics, Floors, Sill Boxes, and Sidewalls, as Well as Installing Led s, Water Saving Devices, and Smoke/co Alarms. The Awarded Bidder(S) Will Have Access to Used Equipment Such as: Force 2 Insulation Machines, Minneapolis Blower Door Fans With Dg700 Pressure Gauges, Infrared Cameras, and Laptops for Diagnostic Forms.
