The Project Scope Includes: 1. Construction of the New Trailhead Building: New Wood Framed,, Slab on Grade, Warming and Event Center With Plumbing Interior Finishes, Lighting, Exterior Doors, Roofing nd Toilet Room Specialties. Contractors to Follow State Approved Plans and Specifications. Bids Will Be Received As follows: 1. Excavation 2. Concrete 3. Carpentry 4. Insulation 5. Drywall 6. Casework 7. Plumbing 8. Hvac 9. Electrical 10. Painting 11. Roofing Proposal Shall Be Accepted Unless Accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond Equal to at Least 5% of the Amount of the Amount Bid, Payable to the Owner as a Guarantee That, if the Bid is Accepted, the Bidder Will Execute and File the Proper Contract and a Performance and Payment Bond in the Amount of the Contract Price Within 15 Days After the Award of the Contract. The Certified Check or Bid Bond Will Be Returned to the Bidder Assoon Asthe Contract Issigned, and if After 15 Daysthe Bidder Shall Fail to Do So, the Certified Check or Bid Bond Shall Be Forfeited to the Owner Asliquidated Damages. There is Not a Fee to Obtain the Documents Electronically. Bidders That Acquire Documents Electronically Without Informing the Architect in Writing Will Not Be Allowed to Submit a Bid. One Hundred Dollar ($100.00) Deposit Per Set is Required for a Hard Copy Set of Plans and Specifications. The Full Amount of the Deposit Will Be Refunded if the Plans and Specifications Are Returned, Undamaged, Within Fifteen (15) Days of the Bid Opening. In Addition to the $100.00 Deposit Per Set, Each Bidder Requesting Plans Shall Submit a Separate Fifty Dollar ($50.00) Check for Handling Per Set, if Plans Are Mailed to the Bidder, Which Will Not Be Returned. Prequalification of Bidders Will Not Be Required. Bidders to Whom Award of a Contract is Under Consideration May Be Asked to Submit to the Architect, a Properly Executed Aia Document A305 Contactor's Qualification Statement. See Attached Instructions to Bidders for More Information. No Bid Proposal May Be Withdrawn for a Period of Thirty (30) Days After the Bid Opening Without the Consent of the Owner.
