Site work and paving for a road / highway in Newton, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of July 17, 2025. Project was awarded to Scott Construction to have the following work done: Dairyland (Center to Village) 4910 ft x 24 ft – apply a single hot oil seal coat using 3/8 black stone for a total cost of $28,805.00. South Union (Cleveland to Countyline) 5270 ft x 22 ft – Apply a single hot oil seal coat using 3/8 black stone for cost of $28,340.00. Total awarded amount of $57,145 Chip sealing Up to 3.6 Miles of Roads in the Town of Centerville. The Above Public Work is Let Out in Accordance With Section 60.47 of Wisconsin Statutes. The Town Board Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids or Any Part(S) Thereof, Waive Any Informality in the Bidding Process and to Accept the Bid Proposal or Portion of a Bid Proposal Deemed Most Advantageous to the Town. Section 1 - Material and Application. Specs for chipsealing asphalt shall be appropriate amount of AC Blend or MAC 5 per width of roadway, heated to the proper temperature. *Specs for chips shall be stone chips fractured to the appropriate size and shape. Also included in bid, contractor must be prepared to hand patch any areas of road with patching material where needed prior to chipsealing. Application will also be in accordance with Section 2. * Please see specific road information in Section 5 for listed roads.
