The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond/Payment Bond in the statutory form of public bonds required by Sections 136 and 137 of the State Finance Law, each for 100% of the amount of the Contract. Project Specific Liquidated Damages (Refer to Article 14.10 of the General Conditions). $1,500/ Day QA - Milled sections can be opened back up to the public with proper signage for no more than 5 days before final paving. It is preferred to not leave milled surfaces over the weekend. If Parks determines that weather prevents the contractor from completing work in the specified window, a time extension can be given in which liquidated damages will not apply.
