The purpose of the Request For Bids is to solicit sod installation services for approximately 2,800,000 sq. ft. of Paspalum notatum - Argentine Bahia grass along the west levee of the C23/24 Canal from one (1) mile SE of Railroad Tracks to Allapattah Road. Work consists of the supply, delivery, installation, and maintenance of sod on an approximate slope of 3.5:1. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and materials necessary to establish a stand of grass within the specified area by furnishing and installing sod, and watering and maintaining the sodded area to ensure a healthy and satisfactory stand of grass for the specified amount of time required in the RFB Statement of Work. Sod shall be installed in applications of approximately 250,000 sq. ft. as directed by the District Project Manager. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
