Scope of Services Design Services including a preliminary design report (PDR) and provide bid and engineering support services during construction for the Chlorine Contact Basins Cover Project ("Project") at Western Water's Western Water Recycling Facility (WWRF). Question Deadline 06/17/2025 at 2:00 PM PT Online Q&A Yes The goal of this Project is to provide covers for the existing chlorine contact basins (CCB) at the Western Water Recycling Facility (WWRF). Wastewater at WWRF is treated to tertiary standards, and disinfected before is discharged into the recycled water (RW) Storage Pond. The cover will simplify the operation, significantly reduce chlorine demand and associated chemical cost, enhance the disinfection process efficiency, minimizing sunlight exposure thus reducing the algae growth which in turn lowers TOC levels, and mitigate the formation of trihalomethanes. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
