Construction Manager at Risk (Construction Manager) services for preconstruction and construction services for ADA upgrades for the tunnel between Capitol Building (aka Cap) and State Office Building (aka SOB), St. Paul, MN. The Department of Administration, on behalf of the State of Minnesota, is seeking a Construction Manager at Risk services for the ADA upgrades for the tunnel between the Cap-SOB. The easternmost portion of the tunnel of approximately 100-feet length located closest to the Capitol Building, does not currently meet accessibility code with its slope that exceeds the recommended 1:12 ratio and lack of landings at every 30-inches of vertical rise. The proposed tunnel upgrade for accessibility includes a reconstruction of the tunnel, installing an elevator within the Capitol Building and associated modifications to surrounding areas.
