The State of Wisconsin, Department of Natural Resources - Division of Forestry is seeking to expand their current inventory of standard sized timber mat bridges. Products will be deployed in various configurations but must be able to withstand loads of heavy equipment and trucks to cross streams and wetlands. A Glossary of Definitions is provided at the end of this document. Neither the State of Wisconsin nor the Procuring Agency are liable for any costs incurred by the Bidder responding to this RFB. The Bid Award will be made on the basis of the lowest price, responsive, responsible Bidder. Prices Bid will be in US dollars unless otherwise indicated. Bids that require a specific quantity or dollar amount will be disqualified. In the event of Bidder error in calculation, unit price will prevail in award. The DNR intends to award contracts to an appropriate amount of vendors in the best interest of the State. The State is the sole determinant of its best interests. All Bidders who respond to this RFB with a Bid will be notified, in writing, of the DNR's Intent to Award. All Bidder qualifications in this section are mandatory and will be met at no additional cost beyond the pricing provided in the Bid. These are the minimum acceptable specifications for the services which this bid requires to be performed. All bidders will clearly indicate any exceptions to the indicated specifications for the services they have bid. If exceptions to the specifications are noted by the Bidder, the Department will be the sole judge of the acceptability and conformance of the product bid to the stated specifications. The Bidder will submit a completed Bid Price Sheet that provides net unit price and, if applicable, an extended net total for each item specified. Prices will be in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated. In the event of errors in calculation, unit price will prevail. Bidders may not alter the Price Sheet in any manner unless instructions on the Price Sheet indicate otherwise. The State reserves the right to cancel this Contract in whole or in part without penalty if the Contractor. The State reserves the right to negotiate special terms and conditions when it is in the best interest of the State to do so. The Bidder shall not submit its own contract document as a substitute for the State's Special Terms and Conditions.
