The CITY OF EUFAULA is soliciting bids for Phase I demolition and clearance of eighteen (18) public nuisance residential structures. The following are the specifics governing this request for bids relative to said demolition and clearance. The demolition and clearance of eighteen (18) public nuisance residential properties ranging in size from approximately 500 SF to 2300 SF Stipulationsrelative to the demolition and clearance of these public nuisance properties are as. (1) Post demolition - the lot shall be leveled and any noticeable depressions filled prior to seeding and the application of straw mulch. (2) Any trees that must be removed to accommodate the demolition and clearance activity shall be cut down and removed from the property and the stump(s) ground below surface level. (3) All structures shall be adequately wetted during the demolition process so as to comply with the Visual Emissions requirements of the NESHAP regulations. (6) Any septic tanks damaged or deemed unsafe shall be pumped out and filled with sand and compacted prior to the application of seeding and straw mulch.
