Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Eufaula, Alabama. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; for site work for a residential development; for paving for a residential development; road / highway; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The CITY OF EUFAULA is soliciting bids for Phase I demolition and clearance of eighteen (18) public nuisance residential structures. The following are the specifics governing this request for bids relative to said demolition and clearance. The demolition and clearance of eighteen (18) public nuisance residential properties ranging in size from approximately 500 SF to 2300 SF Stipulationsrelative to the demolition and clearance of these public nuisance properties are as. (1) Post demolition - the lot shall be leveled and any noticeable depressions filled prior to seeding and the application of straw mulch. (2) Any trees that must be removed to accommodate the demolition and clearance activity shall be cut down and removed from the property and the stump(s) ground below surface level. (3) All structures shall be adequately wetted during the demolition process so as to comply with the Visual Emissions requirements of the NESHAP regulations. The Eufaula Street Department will refill the water trucks on an as need basis at the back of their facility. Contact Jason Trahan, Eufaula Code Enforcement Officer at (334) 689-8995 for assistance. (4) All block, brick, and concrete debris may be disposed of in a ravine at the Benny Whitehead Trucking Company located at 3276 South Eufaula Avenue. They may be reached at (334) 687-8055. (5) All slabs, sidewalks, and driveways, that exist, are to be removed from the property as part of the demolition activity with the EXCEPTION of the slab, concrete porch(s), sidewalk, etc. located at 801 Jefferson Street. (6) Any septic tanks damaged or deemed unsafe shall be pumped out and filled with sand and compacted prior to the application of seeding and straw mulch. All BIDDERS must be enrolled in E-Verify and have an active registration with the System For Award Management prior to Contract execution Bidders will be given a BID SCHEDULE FORM at the Pre-Bid conference. No BIDDER may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Questions concerning this Advertisement may be directed to Mr. David W.
