Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mount Airy, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
Furnishing and installing all granite curb, sidewalks, brick pavers, asphalt, etc. required for improving streetscape and parking lot along Franklin Street in downtown Mount Airy as described in the specifications and as shown on the contract drawings. NOTE: Prospective bidders are hereby notified that they must have proper license under the state laws governing their trade. General contractors are notified that Chapter 87, Article 1, General Statutes of North Carolina will be observed in receiving and awarding this contract. The City reserves the right to reject any proposal for failure to comply with all requirements of the Notice or of any of the Contract Documents; however, it may waive any minor defects or informalities at its discretion. The City further reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to award the Contract which in its judgment is in the best interest of the City. FIVE PERCENT (5%) BID DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED AND MUST BE SEALED INA SEPARATE ENVELOPE AND ATTACHED TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE ENVELOPE CONTAINING THE PROPOSAL. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders. Questionsreceived lessthan ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Question Deadline 01/09/2026
