Renovation of a fire / police facility in Santa Rosa, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The intent of this Request For Quote is to contract for cubicles for the City of Santa Rosa in compliance with the specifications, terms, conditions identified within the RFQ. Delivery and installation location: Fire Administration Building 2373 Circadian Way Santa Rosa, CA 95407 Bond Submittals: A copy of the Bid Guarantee (Check, Cashier Check, Certified Check, or Bidder's Bond) must be submitted with bid documents via online. Please mail the original bonds/check only to Amy Carter, City of Santa Rosa, Purchasing Department, 635 First Street, 2nd Floor, Santa Rosa, CA 95404. (Note: only original bid bonds to be mailed. Bids submitted by mail will not be accepted.) Question Deadline 06/09/2025 at 3:00 PM PT Online Q&A Yes Furniture Specifications: a. The following manufacturers (or equal) will be accepted: i. Haworth ii. Herman Miller iii. Knoll iv. Steelcase v. AIS Divi vi. AMQ b. Furnishings shall be 3rd party tested and certified low emitting materials. c. Contractor shall field verify all measurements to ensure furnishings will fit and provide the minimum aisle dimensions as shown on the plans. d. All panels along the main spine and branch spines with adjacent worksurface must be powered. i. Electrical components shall be UL listed or equal. ii. Provide electrical feed connector (electrical will be fed from ceiling), allowing for a minimum of 2 circuits to connect to the system. e. 3-inch maximum thickness of panels. f. Each cubicle shall include: i. Panels and worksurfaces per the plan ii. Open shelving along the main spine iii. Min. (1) lockable overhead cabinet located at the rear of the workstation iv. Min. (1) lockable 42" 2-drawer lateral file cabinet v. Min. (1) Lockable 15.5" 3-drawer file cabinet vi. Min. (2) under shelf LED lights ix. Min. (1) pencil drawer x. Min. (4) electrical receptacles xi. Height of most panels shall be 62" minimum to 70" maximum xii. Cubicles shall be inclusive of all parts required for assembly, including finished corners and 180 connection finish cover to hide internal components. xiii. Note: chairs are not in contract g. Height adjustable table bases for desktop (labeled A in diagram), complying with the following specifications: i. Power: must be 120V, dual motor, electronically operated (crank models not accepted), must plug into a standard power receptacle. ii. Controls: must at a minimum include user friendly up/down controls (enhanced controls including digital display and presets preferred), must include end user instructions to operate unit and re-set when necessary. iii. Height range: at a minimum must operate at a range of 27" high to 48" high. iv. Weight capacity: must be able to support desktop weight plus 200 lbs. v. Finishes: Silver, grey, white, or off-white are acceptable finishes. vi. Product must be ANSI/BIFMA tested and certified 4. Finishes: a. Fabric shall be neutral color(s) and meet the following specifications: i. Shall meet CA technical bulletin 117 standards ii. Shall contain minimum 50% pre-consumer or post-consumer recycled polyester iii. Provide a minimum of 3 options for City to choose from b. Metal and plastic parts shall be neutral color - provide options for City to choose from c. Worksurfaces shall be neutral in color, laminate top with square edge. All worksurfaces must have a minimum of one rear notch or a grommet for wire routing - provide options for City to choose from 5. Order, receive, deliver, and assemble new furnishings: o Pricing shall be inclusive of all expenses, including hardware, shipping, and installation. o Contractor shall order, receive, deliver, and assemble product per the plans and specifications. Contractor shall deliver to and install at 2373 Circadian Wy, Santa Rosa, CA. o The contractor shall contact the Division Chief Marc Lagourgue to schedule delivery as soon as the manufacturer's ship date is known. o Delivery and installation shall occur within 12 weeks of contractor's receipt of purchase order. o The electrical feed for the cubicles shall be delivered to the City a minimum of 10 business days prior to cubicle installation, and the City's electricians will install the electrical feed. o Up to two 8-hour days during business days and hours will be available for delivery and installation on site. o Installation days and hours are limited to Monday through Thursday from 8am to 5pm, except City of Santa Rosa observed holidays.
