The City of Greenville is assisting the Greenville Transit Authority (GTA) in Greenville, South Carolina, in soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide, both onsite and remote technical support, maintenance services for the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Fueling Station at the new GTA Operations and Maintenance Facility Currently the fueling station fuels 6 Gillig CNG buses but has immediate ability to fuel 4 additional buses. The system could be upgraded in the future, with an additional compressor, to fuel a maximum of 20 vehicles. GTA intends to contract with a firm that has three (3) or more years of experience providing successful operation and maintenance services to other transit agencies of a similar size, and similar gas volumes.
