Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Bidders eligible to submit Bids for this Request for Tenders have been previously selected through the process of a Request for Prequalifications, issued under Contract C14-03-24 which closed on July 25, 2024. A brief summary of the Work involved in this Contract consists of but not limited to the following: - Installation of mass concrete for concrete pads and to fill the gap between the existing northwest and southwest gabion retaining walls and the armour stone walls. - Installation of armour stone walls on mass concrete pads as scour protection at the existing northwest and southwest gabion retaining walls. - Reconfiguration of the CSP storm sewer outlets with extended outlets. - Local concrete removals and repair at bridge wingwalls, integral wingwalls, sidewalks, and barrier walls. - Removal and replacement of the collapsed chain link fence behind the northwest gabion retaining wall. - Upgrades to the structure for Steel Beam Guide Rail (SBGR) connection and SBGR replacement. - Milling and resurfacing of McMurray Street, from the north side of the bridge structure to Hatt Street. - Installation of curb and gutter on the west side of McMurray Street, adjacent to the existing gravel parking area. - Removal and replacement of the sidewalk on the southeast quadrant of the bridge. - Installation of a catch basin structure on the west side, connected to the existing storm sewer by a lead.
