This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation ("HHSC") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Emergency Generator Maintenance and Repair Services HHSC is seeking a qualified proponent to perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance, inspection, testing, and repair services on the emergency generator units on a semi-annual, annual, and quinquennial basis. The proponent must have trained and certified technicians who can service on the following generator equipment: Cummins; Detroit Diesel; Stamford; John Deere; Caterpillar; Volvo-Penta; and Generac. The proponent is required to source, supply, and deliver all consumable and replacement/spare parts from the Original Equipment Manufacturer ("OEM") at the best market price and in an expedient manner. HHSC requires minimized disruption of service during inspections, testing, and maintenance, and coordination with HHSC on scheduled maintenance during after-hours or weekends that will have the lowest impact to staff and patient quality of care. The proponent is required to provide a continuous improvement of service level processes and promote a standardization for efficiency of the maintenance program. In addition, the proponent must be available to respond to emergency calls during all hours of the day, 24/7/365, and have a technician on-site within two (2) hours of the request call.
