Site work and new construction of a residential development in Baldwin, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the construction of a residential development.
Description: The Project is construction of a new 25’ x 50’ Wood-Framed Building with an attached open-air lean-to. The function of the building will be for produce sales to the general public as well as a training kitchen. The building consists of sales floor, training kitchen, storage with walk-in cooler, and restroom. Project location: 1725 201st Ave NE, Baldwin, ND. Additional Description: Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Substantial Completion is suggested for December 1, 2025. The bidder shall list on the bid form how many calendar days to achieve substantial completion from the date of Notice of Award. Work is not subject to liquidated damages. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. Bids not fully complying with the requirements of North Dakota Century Code Chapter 48-01.2 will not be read or considered. Any deficient bid will be resealed and returned to the Bidder immediately. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Each bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing the Bidder’s Contractor’s license and bid security. The Bidder must be licensed for the full amount of the bid. Bid security in the form of a bidder’s bond shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after opening of bids.
