The Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, whether or not minimum qualifications are met, and to modify, postpone, or cancel the Bid Proposal without liability, obligation, or commitment to any party, firm, or organization. In addition, the Park District reserves the right to request and obtain additional information from any candidate submitting a bid, and to waive any minor informality or irregularity. The East Bay Regional Park District (District) is soliciting bids to provide modular workstation panels and office furniture for the PERALTA OAKS SOUTH 4TH FLOOR FURNITURE REPLACEMENT 2025 (REISSUE) project. Bid to include removal and disposal or relocation of twenty eight (28) existing workstation panels and office furniture: Twenty two (22) cubicles including all partitions, desktops, and cabinets for recycling or disposal Six (6) 7'x7' cubicles including all partitions, desktops, and cabinets to be relocated to and installed at the Richard C. Trudeau Training Center, located at 11500 Skyline Blvd, Oakland ,CA QUESTIONS DUE: Email flores@ebparks.org by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. District will provide responses to questions by COB on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. BID PROTESTS: Bid protests are due by email to jflores@ebparks.org by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, as per the requirements stated below. Delivery of new workstation furniture and equipment to be taken at the District Administration Building, located at 2950 Peralta Oaks Court, Oakland, CA 94605 ("Peralta Oaks South"). Products will be received, delivered, and assembled per plans during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Option A Base Bid) or after hours as needed (Option B Add-On). Access to a small freight elevator will be available. Note that during removal of existing furniture as per part of the bid package, electrical work will be coordinated by the District in preparation for base feeds to be plug-in ready for workstation installation. Products need not be returnable unless defective. All products are specified as "or equal" in the opinion of the District, unless otherwise noted. All new workstations to be furnished with the following: o Cubicle Walls: Friant Systems (No Substitutions) o Panels will vary based on attached Furniture Plans diagram. Standard workstation size is 7'x7' unless otherwise specified. o Panels electrified with data ports, with four (4) data and electrical receptacles per cube o Panel Style: Interra Panels, Fabric Interior, Laminate Exterior along Corridors based on attached Furniture Plans diagram o Finishes: - Panel Tile: Camel & Natural Rift - Panel Frame: Black Umber - Panel Fabric: Slide, Sterling o Worksurfaces: o 6' x 5 1/2 ' Curved L-shaped Height Adjustable, 24"D, 2-Stage Base (27" to 45.5"H) o Some workstations will require additional fixed surfaces and 30"W x 24"H Lateral Files o Finishes: - Worksurface: Camel & Natural Rift - Table Base: Black Umber o File Cabinets: o Mobile Box/File Pedestal with Cushion - Finish: Black Umber - Foam Cushion for My-Hite Pedestal: Grey o 30"W x 24"H Lateral File (for six workstations only) Finish: Black Umber o Other Items: o Cable Trough, mesh, 34" o Convenience Power Unit o Friant Dual Monitor Arm #FMA-D, Black Umber o Keyboard Platform, Arms, and Mount Kits o Chair mat, 45" x 58" wide lip, clear o Anti-fatigue mat, 35" x 24" black Award and execution of the contract is anticipated in September 2025. Work to be performed in October contingent on date of delivery of new workstation furniture and equipment. Disassembly, relocation, delivery, assembly, and installation to be completed within 9 days.
