It is the intent of the Contract Documents to provide the requirements and specifications for the construction associated with the Jefferson County Water Control Improvements District No. 10, WWTP Improvements Sludge Removal Project. The project scope for the Base Bid includes, but is not limited to: Acquire any necessary permits Mobilize and prepare site Install erosion control measures Sludge removal, hauling, and disposal from sub cell #1 and sub cell #2 Clean up site The project scope for the Additive Alternates includes, but is not limited to: Additional sludge removal, hauling, and disposal from sub cell #1 and sub cell #2 The right is reserved by the Jefferson County WCID No. 10, as their interest may require, to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in the bids received. Bid Security, only in the form of: 1) a certified or cashier's check drawn on a Texas bank and made payable to the JCWCID10; or 2) a bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in Texas, in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid, must accompany each bid at the time it is submitted. Bids must be submitted on the form shown in the Contract Documents. A Contractor Qualification Statement must also accompany each bid JCWCID10, Texas is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
