Site work for a transportation facility in Danville, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
Danville Regional Airport is seeking bids for the re-marking surface of Runway 02/20. The marking of Runway 02/20 will consist of cleaning the existing surface and markings. All existing yellow and white markings are to be repainted and will include black outline markings to enhance definition and visibility of markings. Type II paint and Type III glass beads are to be used per FAA specifications. The work is to be performed at night to minimize the impact on aircraft operations. The contractor is to provide Lighted X's for Runway Closure. City project representative, Todd Pinekenstein will issue the appropriate NOTAM advising the work in progress. All vehicles and equipment involved in the work will be equipped with lighted beacons. Bonds: None Questions may be submitted in writing via email to: purchasing@danvilleva.gov until 5:00 PM on June 5, 2025 Time of Completion: 7 calendar days Liquidated Damages: $500 dollars per calendar day The City reserves the right to reject any or all offers and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in offers received.
