Reference Number 0000388837 General Description of Work: This project includes replacement of water main using the pipe-bursting method, and including replacement, sidewalk pavements, and lawn restoration within the work area. Major work items include: approximatley 786 linear feet of 12" diameter water main replacemnt via pipe-bursting installation; 72 linear feet of various diameter water main replacement via open-cut trenching at the E. Maple Rd. & Edenborough Rd. intersection, three new gate valves; 116 square yards of roadway pavement with integral curb removal and replacement; 735 square feet of sidewalk removal and replacement; and other items to make a complete project. The successful bidder shall be required to post bonds, and to comply with the contract requirements of the City Charter. Bids are firm, and no bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after opening of bids. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bid proposals, to waive any irregularity in any of the bid proposals submitted, and to accept any proposal which it shall deem to be the most favorable to the interest of the City.
