Description

Site work and new construction of a civil project in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work generally consists of construction of a new PFAS treatment facility containing two (2) 10-foot diameter granular activated carbon (GAC) vessels, a new backwash holding tank, a storm water detention system, new chemical feed systems, construction of a new masonry building with a residential-style façade, and all electrical, instrumentation, process piping, mechanical, plumbing and site work shown on the contract documents. The project also includes installation of 6-inch raw water main from the East Saddle River well and Salem well. bid security in the form of a bid bond, cashiers check, or a certified check made payable to Ridgewood Water in an amount equal to 10% of the amount of the total bid, but not exceeding $20,000. The successful bidder shall furnish and deliver to the Village of Ridgewood a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the accepted bid amount as security for the faithful performance of the Contract. The Village of Ridgewood reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality or to accept a bid which, in its judgment best serves the interest of the Village.
